ABOUT US
The DeLano Motel & RV Park first opened its doors in 1962, during a time when travel looked very different from today. Back then, old Highway 91—what would later become I-15—served as Beaver’s main street, carrying families, workers, and adventurers right through the heart of town. Travelers drove past wide-open fields, small service stations, and local shops before spotting the DeLano, a new and welcoming stop named after DeLano Peak in the nearby Tushar Mountains.
In those days, guests often arrived after long, scenic drives: classic cars packed with families on vacation, hunters and fishermen following the promise of Utah’s abundant wildlife, and road-trippers looking for a clean room, a friendly smile, and a good night’s rest. The DeLano quickly became known as a dependable stopping place—simple, honest, and always family-run.
More than sixty years later, we continue that legacy with the same dedication to service and community. Our mission today is simple and heartfelt: to serve needs and build faith. Whether someone is seeking rest, safety, comfort, or connection, we strive to meet them with genuine hospitality and the same down-to-earth care that has defined the DeLano since day one.
Today’s guests arrive in RVs, cars, trucks, and motorcycles—but the spirit remains unchanged. We’re here to offer a peaceful place to stay, a welcoming environment, and a reminder that kindness and service never go out of style.
